Telecom NZ have implemented ADSL2+ Annex M on thier network so you will need to upgrade the firmware on your router. This is simple enough to do provided you have a Microsoft Windows machine with a wired connection to your router. Simply visit Draytek Australia and download the 'Router Tools' package and the firmware package 'I am an annex M user' from Quick Downlands . Then follow the instructions on the site to upgrade your firmware. Once that's complete log into your router and under Internet Access / PPPoE-PPPoA change the modulation to ADSL2+ Annex M. This will give you a significant speed boost.
